RIP Sanibel island

Lots of great family vacay memories there. Been three times. Very unique. But it’s also a barrier island taking a direct hit from a cat 5 hurricane so…..prob gonna have to find a new place

apparently sanibel is only 3 feet in elevation across the whole island. Does that sound right?

The only western FL place i've ever been (Key's excluded) is Ft Myer's beach - close to sanibel - gorgeous beaches.

I suspect this is from Estero blvd (i think, due to that big blue building), not far from the main bridge from Fort Myer's to Ft Myer's beach -

no, a 'politics' ( as opposed to 'political') jab in that it was carried over from the political thread but wasn't political.. Of course it was personal, duh. And a jerk-off sort of thing to do. Which figures.
