Rope

wait a minute...I was told a long time ago by an ancient mariner that there is no "rope" on a boat. It's all "line". incorrect?
If you want to get technical about it (and oh yeah, I always do), it's line when it has a job. So you tie the boat up with dock lines. The halyard that hoists the sail is line. But if it's a spare coil down in a locker somewhere just in case you need it, it's still rope. So I think we're safe calling that ornamental stuff in the shadow box "rope."

Hell yeah.... Dave G is one of the coolest MF's in the biz.

best show i’ve ever seen...2.5 hours of in your face music.

there’s a clip of him with stern where he talks about prince calling him up to jam...he gets there, prince tells him they’ll switch instruments around depending on the jam...he said prince was an amazing drummer...lol, damn.

Yeah I gotta see them sooner or later.

As if you don’t need it, but a little more evidence of how cool this dude is...

Prince was also a monster at playing multiple instruments. He also recorded his albums on SM58 and SM57 microphones, which are 100 dollar mics that are generally used in clubs/bars. He could afford anything but he went for those. I thought that was interesting.
