Rumor had been floating around for a while. New coach gonna be starting from scratch... although their team defense probably just improved by attrition...

His dad played basketball in Italy for over a decade, so I'm a little skeptical that Maverick needed money or whatever else would signify "junk" around his recruitment.

I'm sorry if he leaves. Had a rough freshman year and started last year injured. But played well.

Has to be tough, psychologically, to play on a team that basically gave up. A shame if he can't see the new coach as an opportunity to turn things around.

I've been assuming Yurtseven will return after he learns what he needs to work on. Kapita could be a star as early as next season. Especially if the new coach is a good teaching coach. Very raw, but a lot of talent. Johnson suffocated most of the season behind Smith, but improved a lot. He could be pretty good next year. Abu, Dorn and Henderson round out a pretty decent squad, if Rowan hangs tough.
