Saw on scout, one of the Heels staff was at a LaLumiere combine to see 6-11 Aussie recruit, Jacob Epperson.

Anyone know if there's real interest or just Roy keeping his options open?

Made his appearance at Summer Jam in July and already hit the top 50. Wow!

If we hadn't made so many offers already to bigs already, I'd def. be watching to see this kid get an offer. Needs to hit the weight room, but we did pretty good with Brice in that regard.

I'd guess Roy is going to take his chance with what we've offered so far. Unless we see Brooks commit elsewhere, chances are all our bigs for 2017 have already been offered.

Thanks Gary and Rose, I agree it looks like there'll be no room for Epperson in this class.
Pity, I'd love to see an Aussie suit up for the Heels. It'd have to be the right one but there's at least a couple of handy players from down under each year.

Roy's been watching him for a month or so now. If we miss on Vandy/PJ, I could see an offer go out.

From the clip, looks like he has a decent shooting touch from short-to-medium range, good timing on blocked shots, good passer, and moves well without the ball. On the downside he looks scrawny and not strong. Doesn't elevate a lot but gets off the floor fairly quickly - and at 6'11 he doesn't need to elevate a lot.
