Sarah Huckabee Sanders

I think she certainly is abrasive and avoids actually answering much of anything but agree she is very entertaining. I think here indifferent and aloof attitude is fun to watch. She is probably the best thing that has come out of this regime.

Lib logic....... Global warming is coming! The record heat is because of global warming, the record cold is also because of global warming!
I don't think cold in the winter and warm in the summer is what "Global Warming" is indicating. I think that's why the term became "Climate Change" because people who disagree with the science were confusing their constituents and/or viewers/listeners with the "warming" part of the terminology. A climate shift is what's occurring, apparently. Not weather, and not the seasons doing what the seasons do. It's an overall shift, with extremes of the polarities. I'm not a climatologist, so I don't want to comment too much.

I don't want to derail the thread from SHS and her enigmatic, concise and awe-inspiring performance as WH PS.

I'm not saying all Trump supporters are anthropomorphic climate change deniers, but pretty much all anthropomorphic climate change deniers are Trump supporters.

Not sure what this has to do with the thread, but it's really indisputable that climate change exists. If you let me know exactly why you think it doesn't I can help you with some resources to educate you on the subject.

Exactly. He ran out of spite when Obama made a joke at his expense and hurt his thin-skinned little feelings.
And, just think... You and your candidate were BEATEN by such a man as Trump. Yet, ZERO introspection from DUMs as to how this could have happened except to blame an illusory Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy! As it turns out, the actual collusion occurred between $hill, the DNC, Perkins Coie law firm, Fusion GPS, Christopher Steele and RUSSIAN intelligence!!! Oh, the HUMANITY!!!

Political threads now don't even make it past the first 5 poasts without straight out devolving into personal attacks.

It also amazes me how many people are pissed off when just about everything is going better now for just about everyone than it was from 2009-2016.

Sad.
What amazes me is the comical divide between people. Strum, err. I mean some have 0 affiliation with current potus no matter what party. Some are hardliners and will praise or bash the potus depending on their flavor. I hope every potus is successful. They all have faults and failures. None are perfect. I just want them to have common sense and support the working people. In the end we are all only 1 vote and 1 opinion.

Oh well I give up you are right Al Gore said it so it's true

Nope. What you have is Fredo's daddy.
I'm going to have to disagree there, the characters aren't very similar. Vito is a self-made immigrant who came from nothing while Trump was born rich and received a "small, million dollar loan" from his father. Vito's father left Vito a death sentence that he narrowly escapes. The biggest similarity that the two share is their children: the beloved one (Michael/Ivanka), the two incompetent sons that desperately want their father's approval (Sunny & Fredo/Don Jr & Eric), the daughter that is regularly ignored (Connie/Tiffany), and the one that isn't really his but he sort of cares about (Tom/Barron).

Trump is more closely a mix of Sunny and Fredo. Sunny's fatal flaw is his reckless temper, which is manipulated and gets him killed. Trump often flies off the handle with little thought of the consequences, which could ultimately be his undoing. As for Fredo, like Trump, he spends time working in the casino business. His mouth gets him into trouble (how does Michael discover Fredo's betrayal? Fredo says something that contradicts his earlier story, thus leading to his downfall), which applies to Trump as well. Fredo is not particularly loyal to the family, and while you could say that doesn't apply to Trump since he hires family, if/when Mueller takes down Kushner and Don Jr, you will see Trump immediately distance himself from those two. But if you want to take it to family/trusted friends, I think we've already seen from the number of firings that this is a fair comparison. Finally, both are very insecure about their place, and both need constant reassurance that they are valued, regardless of the truth.

Now, one could argue that Trump has similarities with the actor who played Vito Corleone, Marlon Brando. At the time of Godfather, Brando was already beginning the phase of his career where he simply didn't give a f*** and tried to see what he could get away with on a constant basis. He wouldn't learn lines (there is a famous picture of Robert Duvall with script pages taped to him so Brando could read off him during filming); he had his character sit as often as possible so he didn't have to wear pants. Similarly, Trump gives zero f***s about what he's supposed to do, and does what he wants because he feels he can. So that comparison might be more apt than the character.

Oh, one last similarity between Brando and Trump. You remember in the beginning of Godfather 1, where Vito is holding a cat? Yeah, that wasn't in the script, Brando just found that cat wandering around the lot and decided to have it in the scene. So like Trump, Brando grabbed pussy when he wasn't supposed to.

Nice work, heelz. What an in depth comparison of a timeless masterpiece and a piece of shit whose days are numbered.

Great post. Love the effort! So, since DEMs are now playing the 25th Amendment game in an attempt to get rid of Trump, will Don Jr. or Eric takes his place as head of family, in your astute opinion?

Well, as I said, Ivanka would be the heir apparent of that group, so I assume it would be her. However, if it truly comes to the 25th Amendment, then consigliere Pence would move up.

I think the 25th Amendment play will be just as ineffectual as the Michigan and Wisconsin recount efforts, the effort to prevent the Electoral College from voting to elect Trump as POTUS and the Russia collusion gambit to spark impeachment. Trump stays as POTUS (Vito), Pence as VPOTUS (Tom Hagen), Don Jr. as the impetuous,hot-headed, and reckless son (Santino), Eric as the weak-willed and terribly insecure middle son (Fredo), Ivanka as the abused daughter who turns out to be a very strong defender of the family Connie), and Baron as the real power and future of the family (Michael).

Trump’s reaction to the book only proves the things in it are true
So what, Trump is a counter-puncher and will never let crap reporting go unanswered and unchallenged! This book is garbage, nothing more than tabloid crap from a crap tabloid writer. And much of it has been proven to be inaccurate at best and COMPLETELY UNTRUE at worst.

He asked the author to come into his workplace, let him wander the halls of the WH and talk with anyone he so pleases in hopes that he would get some glowing report about himself. His ego allowed and wanted this to happen and now he is getting bit in his own ass for his stupidity.

The man literally is his own worst enemy.
