THI Staff Report
Kadarius Satterwhite enjoyed his visit to UNC last weekend he’ll be back again for Saturday’s home game with Illinois.
“It was great, I loved it, Satterwhite told THI. “The atmosphere was electric and the fans were great.”
Satterwhite is a 5-10, 175-pound cornerback who also plays wide receiver at Newnan, GA, High School. He’s also a decorated baseball prospect, but last weekend and Saturday are all about football.
The junior camped this past summer at UNC, where he felt he played very well, thus prompting more communication with the Tar Heels. He usually deals with Charlton Warren or Chris Kapilovic from UNC’s staff.
There’s no doubt that Carolina is prominently on Satterwhite’s radar.
“I am very high on UNC, (and) it makes it a lot better that one of my old teammates (J.K. Britt) is there, so that gives them an edge on other teams,” he said.
Satterwhite hasn’t been offered by the Heels, but he senses an offer will come. He’s certainly working to make that happen, and if it does, he will be quite ecstatic.
“It would be a blessing if they offered from such a prestigious school,” he said.
