I like it as well, keep the game in the forefront of sports conversation.
Also, it will allow me to lament how easy Duke's bracket is a month earlier than normal.

Smart move by college basketball. The Tourney is THE selling point of college basketball. Need to keep it in the conversation as much as possible.
My bet is they go the other way, with dook matched up as the 4 versus UCLA maybe, since this one won't be held to. Now the real bracket we all know will favor the LOM. Maybe he'll even get credit for changing the committee's mind.
Now steaty, you know good and well, when K comes back none of their recent losses will or should be tagged on him and he should not be made to suffer due to them. The only right thing to do is to grant him a #1 seeding that he deserves and it should be the #1 seed in the east, maybe they should put the Zags in as the 2 seed in the east with duke being the #1...
LOL! exactly. That'd have the added benefit of a lot of the Zags fans able to make the easy trip from Washington state to somewhere on the east coast.
As long as they don't go the Lunardi route and start releasing multiple "in season looks" every single week. It starts to take away the fun from the actual reveal.
Regarding K, Didn't Syracuse get a break last year thanks to Boeheim being suspended for those (9?) Games? Wouldn't be surprised if they pulled that with Dook.

They will undoubtedly take the LOM's absence into consideration when assigning seeds. And I wouldn't be one bit surprised to see them in Gonzaga's region.

I think in many ways our fate is in our own hands, we should be able to move up even from this 2 seed if we can run the table thru the rest of this ACC season. But in truth our path may be some what better if we stayed in this 2 spot looking at the field. I as well notice the projection for duke's path at this point and see 3 krypotonite teams for this particular duke team.
Somehow, someway.... UNC/Kansas matchup will come to fruition! Always does! Also, no way does the NCAA place Louisville and Kentucky in the same bracket! That game is far to rich to not be a final four matchup!
^ they love to place UK and UL in the same bracket. Just look back at the last several years. The NCAA loves storylines and ratings. That game brings it. Just like they love to match UNC with Kansas and most likely will try to match UNC with Nova this year.
