Kansas and WV won't be 1 and 2 in same region.... A lot depends on Big East (Nova) championship... Personally this year not much difference in being a 1 or a 2 for me so as long as we get that I'm fine

No we aren't. We need to win to get the 1. If we lose it is a toss up between Villanova and UNC for the 4th and I do not trust the committee to give it to use over Nova.
What would UNC or UVA have done w/Seton Hall in a conf final tonight? Committee has got to see that!
Joe predicts both UNC and UVA as 1 seed no matter what happens tonight ... Says winner is 1 seed in the east w Villanova as a 2 and the loser a 1 seed out west w Oregon as the 2 ... Even more incentive to win this thing .. Don't really want to go out west
We play thurs and sat because that is when the Raleigh games are. I have primo tix. So pumped to see the heels.
Lunardi's latest bracket has UNC the 1 seed in the East, with Nova the 2. But he's got Maryland as the 4 and dook as the 5. In that scenario, we would potentially get one of those two in the S16. I don't like that...
Lunardi is great at getting the teams in correct, and pretty good at getting the seeds right, but the brackets and match ups he's so so at getting those right, so I'm hoping we don't get those teams. Give us the dook treatment of the worst possible 2-5 seeds in our bracket!
I going to predict that dook gets the bracket with the weakest 1 and 2 seeds and full of declining teaMs, count on it!
are there any top teams that just lost one of their star players to injury? dook usually gets those teams in their bracket....
Or some mid majors that are seeded highly due to a good record against a soft schedule
Duke won't be the 5 or 4 in our bracket. With only 6 ACC teams in they will do their best to spread them.
And, Lunardi has already moved Duke to the Michigan State bracket now. Assuming he realized that.
I think Oregon is a 1. Big ten is the 5th highest ranked conference. Pac-12 is second (granted they gamed the RPI with multiple teams like Oregon St. but it is what it is).
AND if we get by that game, we could potentially have Nova in the E8... in Philly. I don't like that at all.
I will take #1 in the West, thank you, where that region has historically been the weakest.
well, wouldn't that be some BS to have to play Nova in their own backyard... especially considering their motivation to want to avenge previous NCAA defeats at our hands
Yup. And if the 1-2 seeds fall the way Lunardi has them, which is VERY likely, Carolina fans will be wishing we were in the West bracket with Oregon as the #2.
