Senior Appreciation Thread

Given that the next game we play will be the final one in the Smith Center for two of the most beloved Heels in recent memory, I thought it would be nice to take a look back on some of their greatest moments. Feel free to share clips, memories, or whatever other appreciation you have for Joel Berry and Theo Pinson (and any other seniors on this team). I'll start with two clips from this year. First, Berry's game winner against Wake Forest, and then Theo's dunk that slammed the door on Duke.

I have a feeling Theo's dunk to close out Duke will be replayed for years to come much like the Danny Green / Greg Paulus highlight at the house that Tyler owned.

A friend of mine tweeted that Theo's dunk in that game needs its own wing in the Carolina basketball museum

I was bummed to see that the Sacramento Kings play that night, otherwise I'm sure Justin Jackson would have been in attendance for what would have been his senior night, to cheer on the other members of his class.

Hopefully he does a video interview or something for them to play during the ceremony (which I'm sure he/they will).

When it comes to our seniors, JB and TP . . two threads may be more deserving.

We should all stand and salute these 2 awesome individuals next Tuesday night . . at that 9 PM intro time, I know I will.

Something interesting about that highlight package is that Joel has a big first half, then it sort of skips most of the second half, where there must not have been a ton of his highlights, but then picks up at clutch time, which is where a lot of Berry highlights would be found over the years

We all know Kennedy got the second offensive rebound against Oregon, but Theo played the first perfectly to give us a chance. Theo and Berry making big plays down the stretch of this one.
