Since the thread is about Seth and Drake, I really wish both come back. I know they both seem to love playing for the Heels and I expect both to be breakout stars next season! I also hope JWash, Lubin, and EC return to the fold. Add a shooting wing and 2 portal bigs and you have a real problem of a team! I like our HS incoming

Plans change. My plan was to marry Cindy Crawford (look her up you youngins). That didn’t happen. I adjusted my plan.

I think all of us, including Wilson, recognized by mid season that Cadeau will have to adjust his plans.

I can understand any wariness Cadeau is feeling. He has probably had NBA as his dream all his life, and with UNC's pg history felt the Heels gave him the best chance. Fair or not, a lot of criticism fell on him, and the podcast where several fingers pointed at him did not help. I know it's a different world but I doubt you would have heard Coach Smith's former players saying such negative things about a current player during the season. If you were an analyst on tv it's one thing, but generally the locker room extended beyond the playing days.

6'0" NBA guards are rare, and EC does not have the quickness or shooting those guys had. He excels in a team concept and isolation is the flavor of the day. Cadeau could be the best player on the court for spurts but he could also be his worst enemy. I have no doubt he will receive some serious interest from others. UNC has major needs across the board and I'm not sure UNC can afford to pay him a premium to stay.
