Meh, his dad is pretty well off, but you never know. Anyways, I believe Shaq wanted his kid to go to Kentucky, I think they get him now.
Brandon Williams did not sign his letter of intent with Arizona either, just like Sharref chose not to. As a point guard I think he may fit our needs more then Sharref for next season, if he opens back up. Still would be a long shot, since we weren't on him hard, no where near an offer before the season, and it's been quite awhile since we got a top Cali kid anyway. HIs only non Pacific time zone teams in his final 8 choices were Kansas and UCONN.

Honestly, I do not share the belief that we need another PG for this class. I think we can get by fine with the PGs we have, with or without Jalek. WE have the kid from Pickering coming in for the 2019 class, hand him the keys. I would much prefer a big man if we could get a really good one!
Just curious, why would you rather have the big man? We're going to have solid depth there next year, but PG is going to have almost no depth even if Felton comes back.
If Jalek doesn’t come back then who starts next year before we get Jeremiah Francis. From what I’ve seen from Seventh he should not be starting and Coby is much more of a sg than a pg and with the development of Sterling and Luke’s stellar play, I would say that we need a guard more than a big guy
Would u say Berry is a scoring PG or pass 1st PG. Coby get get the assists Berry dishes out and score too
I'm diff, but I think Berry is a sg. He looks to shoot a lot more than pass. Theo is our pg. With a pass first pg that can shoot decent, our bigs would be more dangerous. My opinion of course. I also believe Coby will do fine as our pg if needed.
Even without Jalek we still have 7th, BJet, and leaky (who I do agree is at least a wing but has always been a point up to his growth spurt). Cam can cover minutes at the point as well even thou he is more of a 2. I hear very good things about BJet as a PG, not a big time scorer but he can run the position and he does vs Joel on practice or the scout team. Add the possibility of Jalek in to that mix and we are actually a little heavy at the position.
What I don't see for certain is a dominating big man, Manley and Brooks have the potential, Huff and Walker do as well, but right now Luke is the only front court guy I can expect to be solid productive next season, I would like a rim protector.
I agree with most of these points. I do, however believe Manley is gonna be very good next yr.
I doubt that a family worth $100M was really interested in getting a $100k payout. Colossally stupid if it's true. Shaq probably gets that much for an hour's work.
Shareef or EJ? I mean I figured since we already had our sights set on making a push for EJ it wouldn’t really have mattered what anyone else did. And since UK is a magnet for those kinda players like Shareef it might work in our advantage to end up w the better prospect. That is of course if we can beat out Dook.
As it stands with EJ, the evils are the ones to beat for him...Roy and Steve could go all full court on him! 
Any one think Kenny Smith could be in Shaq's ear the next couple of weeks on the NBA on TNT set pushing his son to Join Baby Jet in Chapel Hill?

Me and you both .. the improvements he has made this year will pale in comparison to what you will see from Sterling next year .. I was on the Manley bandwagon day one and don't regret it one bit. That young man has a loooong and bright future ahead of himself both here and on the next level. We'll be lucky to have him for his junior year. jmho
Don't know how ironic it is that somebody's son is able to come out of high school and qualify better for college then his father was able to. I mean, dang, isn't that what parents hope to provide for their children's development? Ironic?

I thought he just visited here but was a heavy lean to LSU and Dale Brown? I maybe wrong but I could’ve swore that’s what they said on the SEC Storied show called Shaq and Dale.
The story is he shook Dean's hand on his visit and said he would be a heel. Went home and his parents talked him out of it. He was gonna come anyway but grades wouldn't allow it
