I'm not getting my panties in a wad. If you want to discuss it then go ahead, but there is no valid point being made by him saying the rule has anything to do with race. Either he is ignorant about the history of the rule or he's trying to score points due to the current environment. I'm not a fan of inserting race into a discussion about something that has nothing to do with race. I'm not going to stop you from talking about it if that's what you want to do.

I am referring to what you posted here. Anyone who refers to it as racism is just completely wrong. It is not worthy of discussion.

Completely wrong ewww. Tarheelraider only said, "SVG made some valid points". Not completely wrong because other sports besides football allow prodigies to start very early just by chance those sports don't have a high percentage of African Americans. The sports, and for this discussion the sport of basketball does, so it does strike at least a small nerve to me that these guys which I admit includes white players does. So completely wrong maybe and maybe not and that in itself is worth a thousand.

Back to PG or big man discussion. Jalek returns the job is prolly his. If not seventh should get first crack at it, but if White continues on his tear then you put him in and adjust to a scoring PG, and wait until 2019 t o get a true PG. I would take another wing, Little might not stay long.

Personally I believe Jalek returns, but I believe Seventh will finally be healthy enough to show us Seventh. Hard to get up to speed when you have missed most of the yr with a fractured foot. That behind the back dribble he did on Lyttle was a thing of beauty. I hate that the ref saw a little man go down and blew for an offensive foul. That killed his confidence, and it showed the rest of the time he played.

Ehhhhh...those +/- 's last night with Joel off the floor were massive.

I still don't know if our 2018-19 PG is on our team right now.

Seventh has been mostly awful again this year. Not sure it’s because of injuries....maybe he’s not our guy. We need Coby White to be good.

I still got some hope. However, I don’t even see basic PG stuff from 7th at this point. I prefer Andrew to get more PT at this point in the season. Maybe he was just poorly coached coming out of high school.

The best option I believe for PG next year if not Felton then Coby. It just doesn’t seem that Seventh has the IQ to run the PG system in Chapel Hill. Coby, Kenny, Nassir, Luke and Stanley

That’s a good way to put it. Kid has athletic ability and looks the part but just doesn’t have that “it” factor that we tend to see from our good point guards. I just don’t see it at all frankly with him.

I watch 7th and see Dex, Nate, even a bit of Q..... fast, skilled but as you mention, lacking the 'it' factor associated with the great floor generals we've seen at UNC.
I dearly hope it's due to the injury, and maybe like the above mentioned players he can become serviceable as an upper classman.

** Note, I mention Dex, Nate and Q because, even though they weren't 'great' UNC point guards, they were all very good team mates and all eventually realised and played to their roles on the team. So far, it seems 7th is also a very good team mate and hopefully he can have as good a career as those guys.
