I mostly agree. But in this era of wokeness, I think any company, even public should be allowed to discriminate against any class. Let’s exopse everyone

I’m pretty pro gay, but it’s the only fast food joint I’ll eat at albeit it very rarely.My original rationale was that if the public company had some, say, Jewish shareholders (owners) it would be unfair to them if the company they had an ownership stake in had anti-Semitic policies. However the more I think about it, just like customers being able to take their business elsewhere, shareholders can also just as easily sell their shares and take their money elsewhere. So I might be able to get on board with your plan.
I think people would be shocked at how little the market would care about certain things.
