Shows (and movies) I've never watched...

Didn't have HBO, thus no Sopranos. Too late now so I'll probably never watch it.

Breaking Bad - actually watched the first episode but just ... meh, didn't care to continue.

GOT - no HBO, but not really interested in medevial shit. Same for any of those vampire shows.

In all seriousness, I really don't watch any programs. I stick to sports, movies and the occasional History Channel doc, Discovery Channel doc, Animal Planet, etc. I used to do all those HBO series but they haven't come out with anything that excites me over the past decade. I don't like fantasy shit that much so Game Of Thrones doesn't do it for me. I loved the Sopranos and I got into that True Detective show but it hasn't come on for a while. And I even tried that show about a record company but that ended after one season. When it comes to TV, I have about an hour or two at the max every evening. I'm a "flicker". If there is t a sporting event I'm interested in, I watch about 5 minutes of 20 different things and then I go to bed.

I did like first season of True Detective; 2nd, not so much.

The list of shows I've watched is much shorter than the list of shows I've never watched.

I'm currently watching the final season of Peaky Blinders. It's pretty good, but not great. Other shows I've watched or am watching include Justified, Archer, Vikings, and Daredevil (+ Jessica Jones + Luke Cage).

In the queue I have several of the shows that have come highly recommended here: Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Sopranos, etc.

You should cut Mad Men off that list, or watch it last. Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are great. SoA is like a trainwreck of sorts. You don't know why you're hooked and can't stopped staring, but you just cannot look away.

I don't watch a lot of TV either but will binge watch things on the iPad occasionally. Game of Thrones was/is awesome. Kept up with Sopranos when it was on. Breaking Bad...great. Daredevil was good but waiting on The Punisher!

I'll never watch The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy. just have no interest in either.

Now I will admit that my wife and I will watch Masterchef every week. She likes it and I like the cooking and plating methods but not the blow Gordon for an hour fest that is in every one of his shows.

and probably never will...
Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Sopranos
All three of these are terrific. Breaking Bad and Sopranos are in my top 3 shows ever made.

but these are in my queue and I plan to watch one day...

Justified
Peaky Blinders
Rick and Morty
Longmire
Lilyhammer
I can speak for Justified and Rick and Morty, those shows are both awesome. Totally different kinds of shows, but both are great.

I've seen a season or two of these, and will catch up on day...

It's always Sunny
BoJack Horseman
Bob's Burgers
Fargo
Better Call Saul

Love all of these. If you have seen Better Call Saul, you have to watch Breaking Bad, it makes Saul even better.

Daredevil is great, as is Jessica Jones, Luke Cage kind of runs out of steam toward the end of that season. The Defenders (which puts all of them together plus Iron Fist) is pretty solid, lots of fun to see different character pairings there.

Those cooking competitions are ridiculous. These people are over there trying to serve up some, I don't know, lamb shanks with a raspberry pomegranate puree served with an arugula walnut salad, or some other fancy crap no common man would ever eat, and they get yelled at because they didn't smear the sauce on the plate in an attractive matter. Dude, just pile on some spaghetti and meatballs or make me a burger or something, and I'll be happy. It's a crock.

Some tell me Hobbit movies are just ok compared to LOTR series. But yeah sounds like a good winter weekend binge (maybe after football season).
If the LOTR movies never came out, the three Hobbit movies would be regarded extremely high, bordering on a masterpiece. But since the LOTR movies came out first and that trilogy is a masterpiece, the Hobbit trilogy doesn't quite stack up. I.E. Hobbit trilogy = great; LOTR = masterpiece

If you have not read the books, I'd recommend just skipping the Hobbit movies altogether and start with LOTR. Ultimately, the only important thing you need to know from the Hobbit is that Bilbo Baggins finds the One Ring, and that story is explained in the opening prologue of The Fellowship of the Ring (first LOTR movie).

I recommend keeping a laptop handy with wikipedia up while watching. It can come in handy for referencing obscure references to places or names. But that's optional of course.

Mad Men is amazing and Sons day Anarchy is good for a couple seasons. Then it falls off the damn cliff.

As the most esteemed poaster on OOTB, I’ll share my must-watch list.

1. The Wire. Simply the greatest show ever.
2. Sopranos. Close second.
3. Curb Your Enthusiasm. GOAT comedy.
4. Season 1 of True Detective.
5. Mad Men.
6. Deadwood. Hugely underrated show.
7. Rome. Great watch on HBO.
8. Narcos. Season 3 was especially great.
9. Game of Thrones
10. It’s Always Sunny

I’m forgetting some but these are all great watches.

and 90% of the other crap on TV.

Agreed. The first season was for superior. But I was willing to give it a chance on season #3. Still waiting.

Yeah, one was great. I still don't really know what the heck happened in season two.

I've never seen hardly any of the reality stuff people use to watch: Survivor, Big Brother, etc...

I watched about six episodes of BB. I may watch it one day but am too far behind on other stuff right now.

I've seen a handful of Seinfeld here and there but don't really get the appeal.

Sopranos-Didn't have HBO at the time.

My biggest problem is sports. I can almost always find a game on somewhere.

The Wire-Heard it is great.

24-Just never saw it.
