I'll start:

Beaver -- the only way I know this is even slang for pu**y is from TV shows with older characters that reference it. Never once have I ever heard anyone from my generation use the term. I'd say it's an extinct slang for those under ~35.

Fixin' -as in getting ready to do something. My favorite is "Fixin' to say!"

Speaking of old sayings...

If someone asks if you'll be here tomorrow and you say "God willing and the creek don't rise," do you mean yes, unless there is a lot of rain and the creek rises and drowns everyone? Or do you mean yes, unless the Creek Nation rises and goes on a rampage and kills everyone?

To tie-in with my CSB and my cousin. She was where I first heard "Gag a maggot" when referring to having to eat her mashed potatoes when she was a kid.

gnarly.....That chick is gnarly man!!! Probably depends on the area you grew up in....I have heard it to mean nasty and I have heard it to mean sweet!!!!

In SoGa I grew up hearing "I didn't go to" instead of "I didn't mean to". My wife and kids have heard it so often they say it now, lol.

Weird. I know folks from Cairo and Thomasville who refer to SW Ga as "SoWeGa" (pronounced "so-WE-ja"). Did y'all refer to it as SoEega? Lol.

Never heard either that I recall. Never heard SoGa until I was grown and gone. Heard a lot of "dumbass" and "idjit", however.
