Most of our fans have no idea how many air miles that Coach puts forth in his efforts to recruit kids . . and once they have committed to us, he still takes the time out to go check out a game if its possible.
Gary who does the kid play for and what is his full name? Is it in the Minneapolis area?

Hurt is a top 10 player and the kid can just flat out ball, and Roy has made him a priority for the '19 class.
Indeed, Billy. I reeeeeeeealy want this kid. Then again, so does every team in the country.
Roy's the man. One hand tied behind his back by the NCAA and he still is doing the job and working his tail off. Thank God he's our coach.
I lived in Rochester, MN for 2 years as a kid. God awful place. Chapel Hill should bean easy sell.....
Roy is a great coach as we all know, but there are a few idiots that think he's lost his recruiting touch..I don't even want to get into that stale BS..Atta boy ol Roy!!

Hurt scored 39 in front of him, and more importantly, apparently Roy showing up in the gym made a pretty big impression up around Rochester way.
True. I have run a couple half marathons there in the last couple years. Any college campus would be quite the step up on many levels... coeds, scenery, things to do, etc.
