I did the big NYE thing at a bar/club every year from age like 18-32, that was enough. I just have no desire to be cramped in a place with extremely drunk 20 somethings paying $100 for an open bar of shit liquor.
Last 3 years have been relatively quiet and this year will be also. Getting old. A house party with friends would be my ideal but most of them are out of town this year.

I'm doing basically nothing. I'll watch whatever is dropping on TV, then go to bed like an old man.
My dogs and I are taking Harvey the RV into the woods, far away from fireworks. The dogs are driving.
The last one i watched was two yrs ago. Mariah carey was wasted trying to lip synch to the wrong song with one of her titties trying to escape. Good stuff
Yup, small house party for me. Done with the bullshit $200 entry fee shenanigans for a shitty night.
My friends and I are going into the woods and setting off some fireworks. I hope we don't wake up any hungry bears.
