Ga ST QB Grainger against SoCar was 7 of 29 (which is a terrible 24 % completion rate). Against Bly's Rude Boyz, he was 16 of 24 (which is a very good 67%) with three touchdowns and no turnovers.

We will not face another QB who is nearly as weak a passer as Grainger.

We’ve seen flashes of almost every piece this team needs to be pretty good. But we haven’t seen those pieces be put together for any significant stretch of time, much less an entire game.

The secondary still looks hopeless but if the DL can start to get more penetration then they’ll at least have a decent chance of making some stops against better competition. The offense cannot sputter like they did today though.

^ Good analysis UNCBOY10. We are inconsistent in every phase of the game. Our DL MUST improve the
pass rush, our DB's are not good. Without turnovers, the offense can score; but volume scoring isn't a
guarantee against most teams we must play. Drake is excellent- great touch, makes good decisions, uses
all his weapons. With Downs and Greene out, Paysour, Morales, and Nesbit have made the most of their
opportunities. Omarion uses his blockers well and knows where the endzone is.
Thankfully, Notre Dame plays Cal before they play us. They are OUT of the playoffs by Week 2 and that
psychs me very much.
Kudos to ASU- big, bounce back victory in College Station yesterday for them; well deserved.
Tar Heels, 3-0? We haven't seen that in a while. Phase Two of our season begins in two weeks.
Should be interesting.
