Was at the game on Saturday and didn't notice it, but when I went back and re-watched the game on ESPN3, I noticed something very cool.
Y'all notice how on the back of our helmets, every player has an American flag at the very bottom, to the left of the argyle stripe? Well, Junior Gnonkonde, who's originally from the Ivory Coast, has an Ivory Coast flag in that spot instead. I think that's kinda cool. Someone on the coaching or support staff obviously had to order that sticker special -- I don't know if it was Junior's idea or someone else's, but I think that's a very cool, very subtle way for JG to honor his home country.
