Spread Offense

It was glaringly obvious that Carolina was physically beaten yesterday against that team from Raleigh. The criticism of the spread is that it is a finesse offense and it leads to less physical play while wearing out the defense. Both of these are true in UNC's case. The Heels have got to be tougher and play Hardee than their opponents. This should never be a problem in a rivalry game. If Larry Fedora wants to learn to coach a physical spread with a good defense, check out Dabo Swinney, Brent Venable and Clemson.
