Assuming this is true, does that mean we are no longer in the hunt for Stokes and Brooks because we want to hold that scholarship for PJ/Knox/Vanderbilt?

Have to wonder why Ohio st never even offered. Averaged 12 ppg in an average high school conference before getting injured. Hope he can contribute by his jr year.
Because they already have their center committed for 2017 and OSU really don't use their big men that much anyhow other to rebound so more then likely they were only taking 1 big guy this year.... They had been recruiting him but no offer... His final 4 of West Virginia, UNC, Purdue and Xavier isn't chopped liver

Nice to have another big in the fold. For this class to have a chance at top 5, I really think Carolina needs to land Knox, Vanderbilt or Washington. If that happens, I'd be much more excited about the mix of recruits coming in.

Worst case scenario has Bradley starting at the 5 and Manley at the 4 in 2017. Telling you folks right now that if Manley does not get hurt in his upcoming high school senior season he will be a 5-Star. This kid is an Antione Jamison clone. When was the last time Roy started recruting a player for the first time and wrapped him up in 2 months? Roy had to ink this kid before he jumped up in the rankings.
UNC is no longer recruting Stokes per our insiders. That ship has sailed. Roy is all in for Knox, PJ and Vanderbilt hoping to get one of them. If Roy strikes out, he will shut it down. The following starting line-up for 2017 with make the dance and win at least 1 game.

Yeah thats not a terrible lineup if Manley really will be a 5 star( Thats a pretty bold claim for a kid ranked in the 200s going into his senior year)but to say its borderline tournament team is generous. but be that as it may Im still hoping we can get one of knox pj vanderbilt obviously.
Barring another injury, you are dead wrong on this. He's waaaay under ranked & will contribute significantly as a freshman. Granted a lot of that is due to the vacancies there will be up front, but the kid can play & will be a surprise to those who are disappointed with this commitment. Roy absolutely knows what he is doing. Have a little faith.
As of a couple days ago, Stokes said he will be visiting November 5th, said hes good friends with Jalek and theyve been talking. Not anymore as of when?
Im really not sure why some here insist on taking things way out of context. I never said I was "dissapointed" in the commitment. I said it was a bold claim to say that a kid ranked where manley is will end up a 5 star as that would pretty much be the biggest jump a rising senior has ever made. Id be thrilled if it happened, though and I hope hes everything some are claiming.
Oh, I absolutely know Roy's all in on that trio, and feels good about his chances --- I posted that a good while ago (although that was like talking to a "brick wall" to some others on here) --- but I heard elsewhere Stokes was still planning on his visit. We'll find out soon enough, so no biggie.

Not sure why you have the shorter, scrawnier Robinson at SF instead of Theo.
Obviously you are assuming that Justin and Joel leave early but Theo and Tony stay.
How does that lineup flesh out with backups? Seems like we are adequately balanced, but lighter on talent than usual. Looks like this to me:
Felton - Seventh
Seventh - Kenny - Platek
Theo - Brandon - Shea
Luke - Manley
Tony - Huff
Am I forgetting someone or do we only have 11 guys in this scenario?
We have the flexibility to move Theo to the 4 if needed.
Butt, the kid didn't even play last season due to an injury. It would be a big jump to a 5-star, but I feel he can make the jump because he is very skilled for a recuit with his height. He has those Jamison-type quick moves around the basket. That's just the way I feel about him and I know I'm in the minority. I'm not going to debate the issue. For any that disagree with me, then we have to agree to disagree. I'm not a good debater unless it involves a Duke fan.....lol
