Anyone else had or have this crazy stomach virus? It hit me yesterday morning. I'm too nauseous to get out of the bed unless I'm sitting on or kneeling in front of the throne. I think I have slept for 22 out of the last 24 hours. Lookout, it's making it's rounds.

I also thought you guys needed another subject that you can use to start new subjects. Like "computer virus "....etc.

Stomach viruses are the worst. I can deal with just about anything else, just don't give me a stomach virus. Those things are absolutely crippling.

If I catch this virus by poasting in this thread Ima gonna be pissed . .

Puking isn't something I really like to do.

What really sucks is that on Sunday night my last meal was a Chef Salad at Crackerbarrel. I loved them, but will never be able to eat another. Sitting on the "throne" while holding a bucket makes for a bad Monday morning.

Got food poisoning at a Quiznos outside Ft. Lewis about 10 years ago. To this day I cannot abide a toasted sub! No kidding. As long as the bread hasn't been toasted I'm fine, but if that sucker crunches when I bite it I'm done, gag reflex and all. How weird is that?

You need to get over that. A sub is brought up to another level when toasted.

That is kinda weird . . are you okay with say a grilled cheese or a grilled ham & cheese sammich . . ?

Yep. It's just something about a toasted sub, and it doesn't matter what kind. I've even tried cutting them up into pieces. Gotta be in my head.

Eat nothing but toasted subs until your brain gets rewired and starts liking them again. That's pretty much your only option. When you start downing them a few times, you'll catch back on. I'm sure it would be hard at first, but repetition is key.

Or you could just settle for mediocre sandwiches.

i'm still dreaming about that sandwich you poasted a week ago.

Santin's make som of the best subs, summits and pizza that you can possibly buy. Their boardwalk fries are some of the best I have ever tasted.

I'm not lying either . .

I'm not sure that the baby steps regrouping on something that makes you sick will work . .

I got sick on spiced rum when I was in my mid 20s and to this day just the smell of a Captain Morgan drink next to me at the bar has me feeling gross.

Its the only alcohol I have ever gotten sick on . .

Well damn. Now I feel bad about that captain and coke I asked you to make for me.

I've gotten sick on a few. Although that might have been due to the amount of consumption as opposed to the alcohol itself. ;)

Once I get sick on something . . I can't go back to it. Fortunately, my getting sick on food or drink rarely happens.

You can keep ordering those spiced rum drinks at the OOTBar . .

Luckily that hasn't happened to me. I got so drunk one time though that the smell of liquor made me sick for about two weeks. I'm glad that one didn't last, although that was a fun night for the most part. Once I started throwing up for about 30 minutes straight and then blacked out it wasn't as much fun.

And I know all about getting sick off a certain type of booze and not being able to touch it again.

When I was a freshman me and a buddy got coerced into having a race drinking flavored Bacardi fifths. First to the bottom won. I "won" by getting mine down in 26 minutes. I ended up puking for pretty much 24 hours straight and my buddy needed to get his stomach pumped. I'm pretty fortunate I didn't have anything more severe happen after that act of stupidity. Regardless, the smell of any of the flavored Bacardi's is enough to make me puke now.

In other words, you're a big puss who can't handle his liquor.
