@BillyL, This is why we like Trump. Another soon to be conservative on the SCOTUS.
I like tRump too . . maybe, too much.
When it comes to Supreme Court judge selections, Trump is the least conservative of ALL the other GOP candidates that could have been president. I rarely, if ever associate "conservative" with Donald Trump.
I can only imagine the choices if it were Ted Cruz or Ben Carson, or Mike Huckabee, or some other evangelical guy who thinks Jesus will come back to earth one day, flying-in on a cloud or something.

Trump isn't religious at all. That also doesn't mean that I am looking forward to his choices. But, when you look at the lineup of the other GOP candidates, I shudder to think of who they could choose.
I have no problem with a real conservative but Trump will pick whoever is best for him or whoever he is blackmailed into picking. Who is best for the country will never enter the equation.

i’m not sure if these are scare tactics, but if women lose their right to choose, we’re going to have problems.
I don't think the court would try to overturn Roe v Wade but it might get the female vote out in the midterm because of that concern.
i don’t think so either...however, what’s been happening the last decade or so has surprised me a lot.

okay, so what’s your horrible example of a point?...is it that trump is going leave a person’s decision up to more govt?...is it that bernie thinks trump would be stupid enough to nominate a person so conservative that it creates a massive turnout of voters that are pro-choice and anti-govt?

First off you are. Proof is clear. The question about the government is what it is. They do make decisions and have for years so yes I welcome conservative SC Justices.

It doesn’t exactly require a brilliant intellect to understand Bernie is a socialist and Trump will nominate a conservative.

If he gives a rats fk about the constitution the nominee should not be known as either conservative or liberal. In fact he/she should be too lib for the cons and too conservative for the libs.
The problem is liberals generally care more about this than conservatives do. Many here will unashamedly tell you that want conservatives on the court, to advance their conservative agenda. They’ll even support stealing a SC nomination by refusing to vote on a moderate nominee. It’s more asymmetrical political warfare.
We're thinning out the MAGAts on this board one at a time, hopefully, it won't be long before they're only poasting on Raider or Blitz. Republicans and establishment democrats in Congress are in trouble right now and they know it. The latter group are the only people that can screw this thing up in 2018 and 2020.
