Typical Caleb Love game offensively. Large peaks and valleys on that end. But I thought he was really engaged defensively.

And we know he’s never afraid of the moment. Was pretty good in the final 2 minutes:
- Key deflection on defense
- Nice assist after dribble drive

Good for him. Arizona looks like a team that doesn’t necessarily needs his scoring to be a good team. That’s probably the type of team he needs to play on.

Caleb stepped in as one of their clear leaders immediately. He is playing off the ball more, almost exclusively, but same work load, 33 minutes.

6 turnovers, not efficient shooting still, but played darn well. Gritty dee, was able to penetrate, huge down the stretch create for the key and 1 bucket and stone cold free throws.

This really looks like the transfer portal working to perfection, as it should for the athletes best interest.

It really looks like the rare truly mutual breakup/divorce. Adults understanding a change of scenery was best. No ill feelings or motives on either side, and genuine respect after from each.

He seems equally loved and respected by his new teammates and new coach, as he was/is with Coach Davis and his former teammates. He clearly has almost instantly assumed a trusted leadership role with both Coach Lloyd and his new teammates.

I'll be watching and rooting for Caleb throughout, as long as he or the others that moved on do not face UNC on a given night. Go get 'em fellas !!!!!

You have to "Love" it, I mean, Caleb was the focal point for UNC when he RETIRED K from cameron, when he RETIRED K as a coach in that final 4 game. Now, just to be sure he does it yet again, again in cameron, again in front of K with Tar Heel for life written on his shoes! I am sure K will remember many players he has coached and coached against for the rest of his life but he will NEVER forget Caleb Love! LOLOLOL
