***We have reached the mid-point of the season (7 teams selected, 7 teams remaining to be selected), so with next week’s thread, I will show “Teams Yet to be Picked” instead of “Teams that Have been Selected.” Please look for this change – next week.
***Don’t forget, Week #9 (next week’s games on October 30th) is Pick Two week, and each contestant will need to make two selections.
** 8 Contestants failed to make a selection (resulting in each contestant forfeiting the future selection of their highest rated team not yet selected):
5 were in the Losers Bracket: @jbradsh1 , @Run4Heelzz , @scooter45 and @Steat will drop into the LL Bracket and will lose Clemson as a future selection. @IDUNK4HEELS will drop into the LL Bracket and will lose UNC as a future selection.
3 were in the LL Bracket: @Duker500 , @gdean44 & @jloakley will each be eliminated.
*** In the “Selections Made” Section below, a “(W)” behind the team signifies they won their game and an “(L)” signifies a loss. An “(INV)” signifies an invalid selection was made. An “(NP)” designates that ‘no pick’ was made, and “(DUPE)” signifies a duplicate selection was made.

Losers Bracket: There were 22 contestants in the Losers Bracket at the beginning of the week. 17 made a selection.

7 contestants had their second loss and will drop into the LL Bracket.
15 contestants are now in the Losers Bracket.
LL Bracket: There were 9 contestants in the LL Bracket at the beginning of the week. 6 made a selection.

5 contestants had their third loss and will be eliminated.
