Talking about diets has made me hungry

What is you opinion ?

Personally, I love it. Living within 10 miles of calabash, flour breaded fried seafood is all we have ever known. It was uncharted territory for me. But now I love it. If you ever venture to Myrtle Beach check out kings sushi. All you can eat for 17.95
All specialty rolls, regular rolls , appetizers, and a wide variety of special dishes to include shashimi and sushi

Next to habor freight. On the southbound side a few miles after little river. Next to a dinosaur putt putt

I tried it the first day we were turned loose in Okinawa and loved it, but then I'm a fish eater. There a pretty decent Japanese place around here that has a nice sushi bar but it's expensive. We were there Sunday night, in fact. Had a variety of sushi and tempura vegetables. Good stuff.

Man, that Dinosaur Putt place was terrible.

I had never had sushi until I got married. My wife really likes it though so we get it quite often now. There is this fusion, robata, sushi place (not even sure what all of that means) that opened up here recently that is fantastic.

I love it. Theres several great sushi places here in wilm. Me and my son will be eating some tonight as is our thurs nite tradition after karate. We go to hibachi bistro which is like fast asian food. Quality is as good as a jap restaurant without the atmosphere and served on paper plates. Cant wait.

You're a bona fide Asian.

Heinous.

- "You won't accept a guy's tongue in your mouth, and you're gonna eat that?"
- "Can I eat?"
-"I dunno... give it a try..."

If in Wilmington try okami. Hibachi is off the chain. Sushi not half bad.

Will there be tourist there?

Sushi is great. I think it's relatively good for you too, which is nice.

Since I hate mayo, I need to make sure to steer clear of the spicy tunas, the spicy salmons, etc as those have mayo in them.

A little wasabi and soy sauce - so good.

I've only had sushi maybe a dozen times. I tried Crunchy Tuna Rolls at the recommendation of a friend and really liked them. Haven't ventured out enough to try other kinds since I eat it so infrequently.

I've tried some sampler platters of raw seafood. The weird crap like eels, octopus, etc. freaks me out and I don't care for the taste or texture. I love seared sashimi tuna though, with sesame, wasabi, and ponzu sauce.

love

we do it once a week...have a great spot, great prices, great owner and staff, right near our house...they have $1.50 sapporo, or that's what i pay...they even give us a surprise roll when we dine in and give the kids edamame.

we love the sushi, but their rolls are the best i've ever had.

if you guys ever come to cola, go to saky

We have one here in HP but spelled Sake. It's fusion and their sushi is killer. If you're ok w paying 13-18$ a roll that's the place to go. Another place we have called Shinko Grill has half off sushi everyday from 3-6:30. You can go bananas in that place. My fave is the raw yellowtail wrapped in seaweed.

yep yep...love the yellowtail and mackerel.

the rolls here are between 4.95-8.95 which is dirt cheap for 6-8 pieces.
