With the game so much closer to Kentucky i thought for sure it would be a road game for Unc. Mine was i wrong, was there and Unc fans showed up and shut up baby blue nation as they couldn't get out of Memphis faster. Was great too get another victory in the head to head series and add too the most final fours in ncaa history kills those Kensucky fans because they are not college basketball.

Can't fault them for loving their team. After all, they don't have any pro sports teams and so they channel all their sports fanaticism into either UofL or UK. So it's understandable that they go overboard in defense/support of their team at times.
Never heard so many boos for a correct foul call in my life. Hell... Willis fouled Berry at least TWO times on the play.
I was there also & I'd say it was about 60/40 in favor of UK. Which is great for UNC considering how close Memphis is to Ky.
I think so. I got blackout drunk before the start and just remember bits and pieces. I nearly got removed from the venue because I kept screaming "Then I'm walking in Memphis..." at the top of my lungs during time-outs.
Those UK fans didn't complain when they got homecourt even though they were the two seed. Winners win, losers make excuses or send death threats smh.
I went over to RR and read some posts and there was some serious crying going on. Some should be on suicide watch. I told them they were whining so much my phone was wet. Needless to say, I got banned for that

They really are very unstable people over there. I love UNC like no other but to read some of the stuff that has been said is really scary. If the Heels had really gotten screwed like they are claiming happened to them, I could never say or think about some of the things they have said
Semi-related note, why is every fanbase referred to as a "Nation" now? Seems kind of funny to me. Did it all start with the Red Sox in 2004 or has it been going on longer than that? I feel like we deserve a better name than Tar Heel Nation.
