Terrific artice about Justin

Always knew he was a good kid...but WOW! Solid kid, solid parents....proud they are part of the UNC family!!!

Side note....love the picture of the guys battling for the board in the Butler game....notice the box out by Luke....I love fundamental basketball...stuff like that is why Luke has turned into the player that he is!!!!

Good stuff. I'm a big fan of Justin and his work ethic! Goes to show what an extra year or 2 in college can do for maturing a player. Reading this made me grateful (once again) for our coaching staff as well.

This is why I think JJ is the face of the program right now! He is the perfect example of what the Tar Heel Way is and his family exemplifies the Tar Heel Family! His story is could be a training manual for how parents should raise their kids as well!

JJ is exactly why I love the Roy/UNC method for developing players so much more then the puke/UK method of being a subway stop on the way to the NBA! A few kids are better served by taking the express train, but the vast majority need the local since it provides the athletic and social seasoning of multiple years in a nurturing environment!

I really like this comment by the father

"Before the season I told him him, 'Son, I hope and pray that you have a tough decision to make at the end of the year,'" ---Lloyd Jackson

As Roy is known to say "no knuckleheads".
And in trout fishing terms, the kid is a keeper. Glad we have him in the rafters.
TPFKAPFS nailed it, sure we want OAD's but this whole team/family thing works well too!
Carolina's number of visits to the NCAA's & final fours prove it.
