You made this old Tar Heel very very happy.......looks like all those 5 stars could not get past the second round!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Dook were the only ACC team in post season to be eliminated so far, it would be really great. But as of now, the big picture is one showing that ACC basketball is absolute crap. SEC basketball is much better, and so are the Big Ten and Big 12.
And as the league has been heading down, Big Time brands like UNC, Dook, Louisville, and Syracuse hire alums with no HC experience, none off whom has been pursued as HC by any other big time program.
I still remember Ademola Okulaja blowing Rick kisses when he was the coach at Clemson and playing against UNC. I don’t remember the circumstances behind it and I had the video on an old VHS tape, but Barnes was jawing at Okulaja for whatever reason and Okulaja just blew kisses back at Barnes, which set him off even more.I dislike Barnes a little less today.
He's still an a-hole though.

Cue the broken record. If Dook were the only ACC team in post season to be eliminated so far, it would be really great. But as of now, the big picture is one showing that ACC basketball is absolute crap. SEC basketball is much better, and so are the Big Ten and Big 12.

I changed my mind about him when I originally saw this. And he is an NC boy.Barnes genuinely regrets his actions with UNC and DES. See Adam Lucas and Jones Angel's 2016 podcast.
Oh sweet 16s at first I thought final fours. That would be interesting to see too.Number of Sweet 16's WITHOUT: North Carolina, Kentucky, Duke and Kansas

Agreed, these games have been very entertaining. At times more like hockey but still fun to watch. I’m surprised at the physicality which gets greater it seems every year. Also surprising that there have not been many injuries thank goodness as the game is played so much above the rim these days.It has been a really good 1st two rounds of the tournament. If you like the game, been good hard-fought action.
I gave you a like and I agree about Barnes style, but it seemed to me that dook was just as physical as Tenn. They are sneaky physical though, and when they complain about physicality, it's because they think theirs is supposed to be less detectable.Barnes got the perfect storm. Duke isn’t very deep, and a starter had to sit due to injury. UT had a guy that got hit from three, and that helped UT greatly as their offense has sometimes struggled, especially after losing their point guard. But most importantly Barnes for the right set of officials. Everybody knows that Barnes like to turns games into a street fight and UT has a more veteran team that lives in the weight room. Duke has a lot of talented freshmen, but not the thickest, most physical of teams. And the refs, for the most part, let it go. UT got just what Barnes wanted and UT just beat the crap out of them physically.
The lack of any credence given to those pointing out the the lack of free throws by UNC while playing at Hansbrough Indoor Stadium, leaves their complaints falling on deaf ears from me.I gave you a like and I agree about Barnes style, but it seemed to me that dook was just as physical as Tenn. At any rate, dook whining over anything is a treat.
