I was kinda hoping Ms. San Andreas would take care of that place but oh well.

I support it. California is far too big to be governed as one state. There will always be problems.. it's too diverse of a state geographically to be governed by one government.

They aren't trying to leave. They want to create two new states. We would have to adjust the flag to have 52 stars.

I read up on it when I first heard about Cali. having a memorandum on it some time ago. I'd be all for them leaving, or splitting.

Splitting into 3 would be great for presidential elections, but would suck for having to add 4 more senators.

They should have split it in a way that the Bay Area was in the same state as LA.

I don't think it would make much of a difference in presidential elections. It would depend on how the electoral college was split up, but at least two of the states would still be an automatic vote for a democrat.
