I'm no SEC fan, but that conference has dominated the regular season. Top level title quality up top, and crazy deep. The thorough arse whipping they gave the ACC in the challenge was just part, they have been impressive from start to finish this year.

That Bama/Auburn game was as high quality as it gets. That might just be a National Championship game preview. Great set at the end for the tear drop game winner in OT.
Not everyone was convinced that the football money had an effect on basketball. I guess this season should settle that argument.

Get used to it. Football is not just king; football is AUTOCRAT. And ESPN loves the Sec, which now means it is going to push SEC basketball all the time.
These are the inherent and inevitable fruits of the ACC and UNC choosing to downgrade football while promoting basketball.
I think the same way on this. If we can somehow beat Wake and Duke in some universe, I think we can avoid the play-in round.
No doubt that W over Dook would count a good deal. But is there any chance? This Dook team is really good. It can be in the FF and win it all.
So now I am just hoping to beat Wake convincingly - not on buzzer shot. That should get the NCAA bid. Anything else in the ACT would be gravy. Upsetting Dook would be gravy made from gold, better even than winning the ACCT without beating Dook. But. sound W over Wake should get this team, now hot, into the NCAA.
Don't want to get ahead of ourselves here but if they can get past wake... the way that injury looked for flagg I find it highly highly unlikely they would play him tomorrow even if he says he can go. Might have a shot against duke... MAYBE
No reason for dook to play either of their banged up starters. They have a 1 seed sewed up, why risk key players playing through injuries.
If we beat Duke we should not only be in the Big Dance, but we should bypass the play-in round.

Kendall Marshall was a high turnover player. It's a reason those 2 UNC teams weren't as great offensively as people think they were. In terms of offensive efficiency, the KM teams were actually pretty average relative to all of Roy's teams.
Kendall Marshall also had a very low usage rate because he shot the ball extremely infrequently (less than 11 FGA/100 possessions. So his turnovers and assists would affect his rate quite a bit since he was a low usage player. Elliot Cadeau's usage rate is higher than RJ's, yet his turnover rate is extremely high. So it's probably a fair indication that Cadeau's turnover rate is more alarming than Marshall's. Cadeau is averaging 15.7 FGA/100 possessions.
I think it's hard to compare someone's advanced statistics to Kendall Marshall. Unless a player shoots the ball as infrequently as KM did, and play the amount of minutes as he did, they're not apples to apples comparisons. Also, there's a lot of reminiscing about KM, but the Felton JR year, Lawson every year, and I think the Luke Maye teams were better offensive teams statistically.
