Now, I agree with this completely. Debates are too structured, and moderators have too much influence on the discussion.
I'm sorry to say your dead wrong on the direction political correctness is going. Just look how few comics are doing shows at colleges nowadays. The reason is because college kids nowadays are so politically correct they practically have no sense of humor. True liberals have no interest in political correctness, they defend the liberty of speech above all else.
Trump is a freakin' joke. The inability to think before you speak doesn't make you intelligent or honest, much less insightful. If he's actually saying what's on his mind that should come as the most disturbing fact of all considering the rubbish he's inflicted on us so far.
Trump is the epitome of the corruption in government... from the outside! He openly admits to buying both party's members for his own personal favors. Now, he wants to be President? I'll pass. And, you're right; he's not politically incorrect, he's like Kramer- speaks without a filter. An executive needs a filter of some kind. Although, I think he has a filter, it's mostly self-interest.

This is correct. Most of the politicians we now call Liberal should be called something else- Democrat would be a better term. Just like most people who call themselves Conservatives should actually just be called Republicans. Both Republicans and Democrats have no problem using the govt to advance their own agendas, be it using govt to control what people are allowed to say or what they are allowed to do.
I thought Ben Carson showed well during the time he was given…probably will not get the nomination but will make a very good Surgeon General (although I do not agree with his Vaccinations for all kids stance) Trump is an arrogant prick but I like his fight and moxy although he has carried things to far….Cruz, Rubio and Huckabee held their own and did fine…..really wanted to see more from Walker….Christie and Paul need to just have a brawl and whoever wins gets to stay in the race……Kasich needs to drop out…..Fiorina and Jindal need to be on the main stage for the next one! Bush needs to go back to Florida…..
As a Republican voter the field is still wide open for me…I enjoyed the debate although I thought Christie, Paul and Trump acted like fools…also not impressed with Fox News…the intro was awkward, the questions were not that great.

I wanted to watch but couldn't. But from the article I read the next morning, I'm not sure you guys were watching the same thing. Because Trump leads in the first polls taken after the debate. They said Carson was terrific and Cruz was pretty good. They called everyone else unimpressive.
I'm not sure Trump really wants to run. I think he may bail eventually and that he just wanted to see if he could do it. There's a lot I like about Trump but you just can't have such loose lips as POTUS.
IMO, Rubio is the most well rounded. But I like Paul even though he comes off too angry. Cruz is right about a lot of stuff, but he could never win. There's too much for the liberal media to go after. Scott Walker is a viable candidate.
