We basically played 6 guys yesterday. That's not good 5 games into the season.

We are going to need 5-6 minutes per half for two of the trio(7th, Jalek, Andy), as well as Sterling or Huffman.

We dont want dook fatigue come March.:(

Yeah, in the post match presser Roy owned up to it.... said he has to do a better job of spreading time around.

Yeah but Roy wanted this one, don't think he really liked the game film from last year when we met them in the tourney.

Agreed. But with the inexplicable amount of injuries we have, I find myself more worried game-by-game than I am about March right now:confused:

You will when the 2 or 3 of the top five players are in foul trouble in a big game, or even worse, in the NCAA tourney or a late season injury to a starter.

I think Jalek and Platek are ready for more PT now .. IIRC UNC , when it gets later in the season, generally only goes with a rotation of about 8. I think this year, by the time the regular season starts you will see a fairly steady rotation of JB,TP,KW,LM,GB,JF,AP .. the unknown that will shake out over time will be if Manley or Huff (or both) work themselves in to good minutes. And as of today I like Manley because he can hit FT's and looks better in general than Huff. I believe if things go as Roy would like then by mid ACC season we will be seeing 3 options that are viable. Brooks/Manley or Huff along with Luke in a traditional big line up .. or what we see now with JB/KW/TP/LM and Brooks with Huff/Manley subbing the 5 or a small line up with Luke at the 5. My memory is fading with time but I'm having a hard time remembering when there was this much interchangeable talent and combinations of really good players available to work with. Do you guys realize the potential of this group? I'm ready to put some $$ on UNC going back to back. (and I didn't even include Cam's availability later) .... jmho

Of all the coaches in the country, you're worried about Roy playing his bench enough? Name one coach in the country that plays his bench more. Roy wanted to win this game. And I think he really wants to beat MSU to demonstrate to this team that, although they've lost a lot of production, they are still among the elite teams in the country. Nothing wrong with that. We will still go deeper on our bench than 75% of D1 teams.

Winning one of the most loaded tourneys ever, even though we don't play the winner of the other bracket, will do wonders for our confidence.
