Brilliance! He's +3 through 9 this morning. +6 overall w +3 looking like the cut at this time so it all but looks like the fat lady's gonna sing.
Fatty w a +6 today and will miss the cut. Nicely done. Going to be interesting watching the Spieth-Kim-Stenson group.
Anyone ever get the scoop as to why he and Bones parted ways? I can't imagine this is a good thing for Phil
There was speculation that w Phil getting up in age he was slowing down on how many tournaments he was playing per year. So he wanted Bones to hook up w a younger up and comer to share his wisdom with. Sounds like a bunch of shit to me.
Bones probably got sick of the lunacy that is Fatty.

I hope it come down to Spieth-Rory on Sunday. I just think would draw some eyes and be fun to watch. I don't get the Mickelson hate either. Dude is a blast to watch and regardless of how highly he thinks of himself he is great with the fans.
My favorite is Snedeker, which obviously doesn't matter for the Open. I really want to see him win a major though.

I don't hate Fatty at all. I have just come to expect nothing from him, even though he has more physical talent and skil than anyone to play the game from tee to green.
Yeah, since he made that putt to save bogey, he looks like he just knows they're going in.
I was talking at church with an older guy I've golfed with before. We were discussing The Open and other things (actually we were skipping Sunday school to check the scores upstairs and talk about it, haha). He also volunteered to help at Muirfield village back in 2013 for The Presidents Cup. He had some pretty cool stories about some of the players, which were cool and which were jerks. Said it was a pretty awesome experience getting to talk up close with some of the players though.
Never seen anything quite like Speith at 13 today Hits it soo far off ijne takes an unplayable and then 20 minutes of searching for relief/line of sight/sdrop Man it was fun as he wades thru the crowd and then is walking all around the practice tee and equipment trailers. I was thinking he was gonna happen upon a porta john at some point . He Could have made anything really but managed bogey and then almost aces the next hole and them eagles 15. Wild last 9 holes... Kid is special has the IT factor and can turn it on in no time
