Well looking at the Ryder Cup the ONE guy I am hoping that Furyk picks is Tony Finau. That youngster has some serious game, a great attitude and he showed at the PGA, playing with Furyk, that he is tough and resilient, I believe he had 10 birdies on Friday or Saturday not sure

i wouldn’t select tiger because he doesn’t have the greatest track record in the ryder cup...phil is what, about .500?
imo, this is the perfect year to make a clean break from them...we are so strong 1-8 that tiger and phil would almost be like asking jack and arnie to hit ceremonial tee shots at augusta...wait a second.
This is true. However it is worth mentioning that the old Tiger was not much of a team player or locker room guy. New Tiger might be different.

he and phil would be distractions imo and quite frankly, i’d rather season more young dudes while we own the cup and are this top-heavy.

I'm not a Tiger fan but I respect the attitude he has returned with. I'd also like to see he and Phil on the team because I believe they have a newfound respect for one another and I think their leadership would be good for the team. Both have done enough to be captains picks.
The fact that Tiger waited on "Brooksy" as he refers to his buddy Brooks says a lot. Old Tiger would have never done that.

That is absolutely not true according to a source that lives in the same neighborhood as Koepka and Johnson. Says Tiger and Brooks have become good friends.
