I don't recall the Spinal Tap setting in North Carolina. Where they playing in Chapel Hill in the movie?

Regardless, it would definitely be at the top of my NC list, along with Bull Durham.

Just saw Spinal Tap yesterday. They did supposedly play a concert in Chapel Hill.

The Flim-Flam Man with George C. Scott was a good one supposedly based in Clayton, N.C.
