Sickening. Tyler will be a baller and a shooter. Something UNC needs
Tyler shot 22.2% on mostly wide open 3s. He was bad defensively. He struggled in practice against Leaky, Puff, Styles, and Dunn.
He needs a lot of development to become an ACC level player. Seems like he may choose to join a midmajor instead.
Leaky and Nance for certain. Love scrubbed UNC from his social media after horrible fans attacked him, so probably him. I'd guess Styles is considering going to a midmajor.

Those 6 or 7 helped us not make the NCAA Tournament this year. God help us all.
Or in the NIT next year if we don't opt out.
Better get used to players choosing the easy way out instead of earning minutes going forward.
Nickel was awful this year in practice and in every game except The Citadel. He got the minutes he deserved. He could have spent the offseason working hard, and came back to compete for all the minutes that are opening up at the 3 and 4 spots. Instead he put his name in the portal. Lots of players are doing the same.
One thing is for certain, it's a lot easier to enter the transfer portal than to put in the work to improve your defense and 22.2% 3pt shooting percentage.
But hey, his girlfriend might be hotter than any of the girls he met at UNC.
I don’t begrudge any of the players or any other student trying to find thier best fit. They have options available, best of luck in finding their road.
Does Hubert still go to pass for not being able to play with "his players" if he runs all of his players to the portal cuz he won't play them? Asking for a friend...
That's pretty amazing when you consider most of the better teams are still playing.
Injury prone, horrible circle of people around him, quit on UK before he got there, quit on Illinois after he got there.
Ouch. I just remembered that we had been interested in him at some point. I guess not now, unless he has worked through things.

Aren't you the guy who got pissy about @What Would Jesus Do? talking shit about our players? Now you're talking about how bad Nickel was in practice. I guess since you go to all the practices you get a pass.
I think the fact that players voted to not play says there are a number of players that are done with Hubert unfortunately. I think they are wanting to get into the portal sooner to not miss any spots that open up.
Might end up needing to retitle this "the transfer thread", @John_Mexico. Pretty sure there's going to be more.
Can’t blame Nickel. He is the real deal. Looked good while I there except for his 3 pointer, which I expect is great. That is on HD.
I was the guy complaining that WWJD called the entire team, players and coaches alike, "pus**es."
I was the guy complaining that WWJD told all our recruits to decommit.
Now I'm the guy telling you that in practice Nickel struggled against all the experienced wings on the roster (Leaky, Puff, Dunn, Styles.) Which played a major role in his minutes this year. Our team was mediocre, struggling for wins. We didn't have a lot of great opportunities to play the 5th best wing.
