This has been another cold summer

In NE Ohio, we used to average about 12 days of 90 or above. I think that there may have been only one such day this year, if that. Apparently, the jet stream doesn't seem to be dipping down past your area.

It is in the 90s all the time around here during the summer. We frequently have weeks at a time where the high never gets below 90 and often is 95 or higher. I like it hot but when the humidity and dew points are also high it is uncomfortable.

Yeah, if you hit it that far with a low spinner your ss is a lot greater than mine.
