It is telling that this bad officiating that went Miami's way has led to more Cane fan ranting than the bad officiating that cost Miami the National title against Ohio St.
there is no fan more nauseating in the stadium after a win than an Univ of Miami fan. I've been to at least ten Miami games (all on the road sans one) and they yell (curs) at you, dance at you, give you the finger ... it's awful. And these are the committed hometown/S Fla fans who travel. Not your 35 - 50 year old fan who grew up rooting for Miami from a distance.

goal line" If they did, dook's go ahead TD with six seconds to go would not have
counted since the runner did not break the plane of the goal line (in my opinion).
Time should have run out and the Canes win 24-19. This is no different than
in CIS, the students are allowed to be within inches of the players taking the
ball out of bounds. The students should be back 6-8 feet like they are at every
other college basketball facility. dook is allowed to not have cameras on the

I still do not understand why a block in the back by Miami on that last play would result in an untimed down (so the referee said). I know that the game cannot end on a defensive penalty, but it CAN end on a penalty on the offense, which an illegal block by the team with the ball would be. I am not aware of a different rule for kick returns.
If you accept the penalty the game cannot end. Game cannot end on an accepted penalty.
Every point he makes is dead on. I'm not a Canes fan but if it had been anybody but dook would there be so much hot air from the media? Ding bat Heather Dimwit even suggested Miami forfeiting. I have a suggestion for Heather : get a teaching job or stay home and bake cookies and leave football commentating to the men folk.
Overall, the dude is right. I'm sure if the Heels were on one end or the other of this outcome, we'd feel the same as dook and Miami fans do today.
It just amazes me that the media is calling for the ACC to hand the game to dook after the fact, which is idiotic. Once the referees call the game, it's over... NCAA rules, people!
Hey, while we're at it... let's review all the BS charging calls that have gone dooks way during the Rat's reign, and overturn those games? Or how about we retroactively award Kentucky that '92 crown because the douche-bag laettner should've been ejected for stomping on Timberlake's chest, and therefore would never have been in the game to hit the last second shot.

My favorite comedian was Richard Pryor. I don't care about comedy being PC. It just wasn't even funny. If you can't do better than saying women should stay in the kitchen and bake cookies then you should work on your creativity. I feel comfortable making a joke about anyone or anything. I just prefer to make some kind of effort to make those jokes funny...
I didn't find it particularly funny or clever either, although I happen to think Dinich is awful. The "make me a sandwich" bit is completely played out, especially among those who have ever listened to at least five minutes of sports talk radio.
Andrea Adelson, who replaced Heather Dinich writing for ESPN's ACC blog, does an absolutely fantastic job.
