Didn't Slash say he hated that song once it was finished? Or he hated his portion of the song, or something like that.
I think his exact words were "I'm not fond of it." He went on to say.....
The actual riff itself I love, but the song itself…
"You know, GUNS N' ROSES was always a real hardcore, sort of, AC/DC kind of hard rock band with a lot of attitude. If we did any kind of ballads, it was bluesy. This was an uptempo ballad. That's one of the gayest things you can write. But at the same time, it's a great song — I'm not knocking it — but at the time, it just did not fit in with the rest of our, sot of, schtick. And, of course, it would be the biggest hit we ever had."
That game probably frustrated me more than any other simply because I could never beat it at that level but like an idiot I kept trying.
I can't tell you how many times I've taken my laptop to the can and played minesweeper (and poasted a good percentage of my poasts). Surprised I didn't get hemorrhoids because of that.
