Fedora did the 180 degree opposite of what you're saying. He went out of his way to specify that the coaches are NOT looking ahead to GT during normal planning time. They are 100% focused on Delaware. The coaches just voluntarily spend Sunday -- a day where no work with the team is done -- doing extra planning for GT and their annoying offense.

He shouldn't mention GT period until it is GT week. That is a cardinal rule of coaching regardless the sport. And someone who won't divulge anything else ever should certainly know this.

You don't really believe that, do you? If Marquise left the game with an undisclosed injury on Saturday 1, don't you think it would benefit the opponent's game preparation for Saturday 2 if Fedora announced Marquise was out with a sprained ankle? As opposed to not saying anything at all and the opponent thinking he was going to start?

Prep for Georgia Tech started in the fall and has continued every Sunday. Prep for the upcoming opponent has always begun on Tuesday, so the limited time spent on GT two days prior does nothing to change that.

If MW had been knocked out, then the answer should be: "MW has been working hard to get ready for this game and I am confident that if he is ready to go, he will go." As opposed to "I don't discuss injuries" Both say the same thing but only one makes you look like a jerk.

I think his answer would've been the same.

Because it's a message board and playing devil's advocate is fun. But also because you and others seem unwilling to cut him any slack. On one hand, I realize how you arrived there, but on the other hand....sheesh.

This. I totally, 100% get there are certain things not to like about Fedora. Won't argue that and even agree with some of those reasons.

But.....I don't see why our fanbase is so incredibly hard on this dude. Nor do I see how our fans fail to see the excellent job he's done, overall, to keep the program from hitting rock bottom. He's nowhere near perfect and needs to improve on things for sure. But the level of disdain he has from the fanbase doesn't make sense to me.

Butch Davis let games slip away too that should've been won, by the way. It's not something new under Fedora.

It is because he is a dick. That's what I have been trying to say for 2 pages now. He has done an acceptable job, but not great. That's all there is to it.

And as far as the rest of it, I don't much care how he acts with the media if he wins. And if you think going from 8 wins to 7 wins to 6 wins is a fine job, then you and I just have different standards.

You don't think the NCAA has hurt the program...I mean UNC has never been a football power and truth is I don't know if they really want to be...Not talking about the Fans but the ADM itself...Time and Time again I have seen them drop the ball with the Football program...From hiring coaches and not paying coaches to building The Blue Zone...Why would you put seats down there to start with...Just build the Building with the VIP boxes and no seats...We have Fans that give other Teams fans the tickets in the freaking Blue Zone or sale...Damn State fans on top of that....


We have not won a ACC title since 79...That is just sad...Hell have only been close a few times...I just enjoy the games now and support the players and coaches...
