This season is a complete dumpster fire. The best thing that can be done for the program right now (other than a coaching change) is to accept that they will not be in a bowl game and start playing for next season. Let the promising underclassmen, especially the freshmen quarterbacks, get the bulk of the playing time. Sure, they will lose with them playing, but they are going to lose even with Elliott and the other veterans playing. Throwing in the towel on this season will allow the Heels to prepare for the future much better than holding on to the mirage of a bowl game.

I think most fans agree. But Fed probably won't. I really feel for the players. The good news is that change is coming.
Most of our roster, especially on offense, is comprised of greener players. There aren’t many vets playing. And Fortin will get a lot of PT this weekend.
