(CNN)A top aide to Hillary Clinton at the State Department traveled to New York to interview job candidates for a top job at the Clinton Foundation, a CNN investigation has found.

The fact that the aide, Cheryl Mills, was taking part in such a high level task for the Clinton foundation while also working as chief of staff for the secretary of state raises new questions about the blurred lines that have dogged the Clintons in recent years.
Upon entering office as secretary of state, Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation agreed to a set of rules to ensure any activities by the foundation would not "create conflicts or the appearance of conflicts for Senator Clinton as Secretary of State."

Blurred lines? When have the Clintons ever respected any line?

Looks like the investigation into the Clinton Foundation is still in play according to news reports... We'll see...

I am trying to understand this, so help me out.... is this like say, you owned a store and you also served as say, the mayor of the town you live in and you had an assistant that worked with you in the mayor's office. So you sent that same assistant over to your store to interview people to manage your store for you. Is that kind of the same only on a much lower degree of importance? I'm just trying to get a clear picture here.

The Dems say nothing to see here folks.

I don't think many have said there is nothing to see with Hillary. She is crooked just like the rest of them. I'm not sure why people think this should have an impact on the election unless they feel the other person isn't crooked I guess. I mean, she isn't trustworthy. Neither is Trump. I'm not sure you can get to that level politically and be trustworthy. They are all bought and sold.

I think the issue is that rules for ethics in government require that ANY action that would elicit ANY appearance of impropriety shall be avoided. I would add that this is just the tip of the iceberg with respect to the Clinton Foundation, Clinton at the DOS, and use of the position of the Secretary of State to funnel money to the Clinton Foundation. It is a RICO issue. Your small business analogy doesn't necessarily apply because of the applicable government ethics rules.

and I stated it was a small comparison obviously but I was trying to understand what it meant in my "blonde" terms.... okay???? I think she is more evil and sinister than we even know. I just wanted to make sense of it because I did not understand exactly. Thanks.

Oh yeah, those who support her will see this as nothing just like the Trump people have totally ignored that very telling YouTube Strum posted the other day... IF that were a Hillary video saying how wonderful Trump was you can bet your butt they'd be smearing the boards with that one. People who support either one, in my opinion, have issues, serious issues or are just stupid for ignoring the obvious writing on the wall with both of them.

I realize you guys always stay on topic, 100% of the time... NOT! but I was replying to someone else, NOT YOU! thanks! If I had replied to something you said that had nothing to do with what I responded with, THEN you'd have a legitimate reason to bug the crap out of me with your meaningless responses. :) xo
