Fed was giving his 5th year senior QB every opportunity to win the game for us. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. I'm sure no one felt worse about the loss to SC than Quise, but Littrell and Fed had to feel responsible as well. We shall see who steps their game up as the season unfolds. Frankly, we need improvement from all three in order to be a good team. I am cautiously optimistic.

I just feel the coach missed an opportunity to send a message to MW by not benching him in the SCar game. Yes, let him play but after the boneheaded int and then the overthrow lateral because the ref wouldn't let him start the play, MW should have been pulled. By not doing it during the game and during his bad performance, the coach open up seeds of discontent and the possibility of poor team chemistry.

Now yeah I can understand that.

MW did make some comments about having to compete for the QB job last year, It really wasn't anything all that earth shattering just as MT's wasn't either. I also will not go searching for it because it doesn't matter any way and I have better things to do with my time.
