Trump is Putting the "Pee" back in President

That's not a defense. That's a conclusion without a predicate.
Call it what you want, it's the reason that I believe the EC is a more accurate assessment of the voice of the country than the PV would be. The PV is cute and fun to talk about but useless.

Who cares what Trump does with his private time anyway ... is he getting BJ's under the OO desk yet? He probably will be in a few weeks - that's fine, just dont lie about it under oath.

There are plenty of states where rural voters outnumber urban voters.
That's true. So... popular votes doesn't always equal a liberal from the city being the head honcho.

In a popular vote situation, it really doesn't matter where you live. In fact, if we had a popular vote for President, the conservative voter in New York City would finally have their vote count the same as the voter in Wyoming. And, a liberal voter in Bumfuk, Montana would finally be worth the same as a voter in Los Angeles, or Boston.

And, to top it off, the parties and candidates would also have to work harder for the demographics and voting blocs. They (the parties, if they want to remain intact and relevant) would have to be more willing to accommodate voters in many demographics that they take for granted now. The philosophies and ideologies of both parties might just get more evenly placed in the entire country, like it does in the states now.

The EC is obsolete and has been for decades. Candidates can reach every citizen now and never have to leave their HQ's.

I hope he gets them frequently. The more frequent the better, actually.

I've already told you. The number of things that would have to happen to evolve from a 4Chan prank to today's news is absurd. There are alternative explanations that don't require overactive imaginations. But I guess that's half the fun, eh?

Thats telling me what you dont believe. I asked what you do believe.

No, it's fine. Haven't you heard? You're allowed to believe anything you want now.

Thats the end result when people realize that they have been lied to for a long, long time.

Which is why I no more believe the WSJ when they say they corroborated a source while offering no proof than I do Dan Kane when he writes his drivel.

Long and short of it- I dont believe any of them- Fox, CNN, NBC, PBS, etc. I will believe an alternate souce any time unless substantive proof is provided, and their good word does not substantive proof make.

ETA- and you absolutely argued that Obamacare was a good program (back in 2010-2011)

Sounds like you're willing to believe anything then.

I've discussed the parts of it that I thought were good. I've also discussed the parts of it that I thought were bad. I've said lots of things about it, actually. Never have I described it as wholly good or wholly bad.

I think the author is the former spy whose identity has been corroborated by multiple sources here and abroad. I don't think the author was an anonymous user on a bulletin board.

Multiple unnamed and anonymous sources. Anonymous BB user. Whats the difference other than the media quoting multiple sources has been proven to be full of shit for quite some time.

I actually dont believe any of it one way or the other with regards to source. And you have acknowledged that you dont believe anything contained in the report as well. Interesting to note when you chose to jump into this thread though.

You should consider running for office. This is elected representative level of bullshit waffling.

Sorry. Maybe I didn't read enough Ayn Rand as a youth to believe the world is entirely black or white.
Of course you did. Made up stories about a guy you dont like are funny.
I'll readily agree that the media's treatment of Trump has been unfair. But he has also brought it upon himself. He's the Grayson Allen of U.S. politics.

I've never read a page of Ayn Rand. But I have read plenty of your comments on the ACA and I dont recall ever seeing a negative one.

In keeping with your analogy, the media would be referees, not fans. And what is happening with Trump is that the refs are attempting to throw him out of the game during warmup drills for something he said in another game 6 months ago.

The media used to have an important role in our system. But as evidenced by this latest story on Trump, they have taken themselves out of any position of relevance.

I hate political debates because no one is going to change anyone's mind and everyone just knows they are right and everyone else is wrong!

But I'm so glad Obama is leaving simply because IMO he is the most disrespectful un-American person you could ever dream of as a president and his complete disregard for race relations and non support of law enforcement sickens me and has set America back 40 years in race relations!

But it don't matter what any of us think or say we all had our say if you voted and it is what it is support who we got and let's see what happens!

Are you sure you hate political debates?

It's worth noting that several news agencies already had copies of the dossier. None of them chose to publish it because they couldn't verify the authenticity of its contents. It was Buzzfeed -- inventors of the 50-page slide show -- who published the crap, ironically in a bid to be taken more seriously as an investigative news organization.

It was also noted that Trumps counsel, Cohen, was in Russia on a secret visit. But was prove he was in LA with his son on a baseball visit.

Yet when Buzzfeed put it out there, the rest of them jumped on board to report it.

Right. I think I've been pretty clear that the contents of the report are dubious.

True. But I have yet to see a major media source actually include the contents of the report. They only make references to the report.

What would you have done in their situation? Buzzfeed releases an inflammatory report that you've been aware of for months but doubt its authenticity. Do you simply not address the matter at all?
