FROM UNC:
CHAPEL HILL --- With winter weather preventing baseball from being played in Chapel Hill, No. 6 North Carolina and No. 4 UCLA will meet at UCF's Jay Bergman Field in Orlando for a three-game series beginning Friday at 2 p.m. The series will continue Saturday at 1 p.m. with the finale set for 11 a.m. Sunday.
This marks the second straight year in which winter weather has led to a significant schedule change. Last season, snow forced Carolina to reschedule its season-opening series against the College of Charleston. Instead of a Friday opener in Chapel Hill, UNC and CofC met Saturday, Sunday and Monday in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Carolina's next home game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m. against St. John's.
