Did they just call a foul on Justin for tripping over the BC guy? I didn't see how the play started, but that's how it looked at the end.
All but the last of Bowman's 3s were open. Poor, poor defense, mostly on Berry. It would be inexcusable to lose to both GT and BC. Must play much better in the 2nd half. And tighten up the lineups. I get that you want to get young guys experience against a weak team, but we must win this game.
My guess would be that Roy doesn't see this as a "must win" game. Which... it's really not a must-win game. It would suck to lose to BC, but it isn't going to mean anything perilous for the team or the season.
Bowman rips another three as the half ends 34-33. A though his red dyed hair and the 2 wigs his parents are wearing are down to earth just plain ugly this guy can shoot the rock.
It's why some players like to play against us.

Today, we have seen some inexplicable (to me) backing off of hot shooters. If we get beat, we get beat, but why are we lagging off a guy like Bowman. Why, for example, does Berry drift off Bowman when he sets up in the corner. We don't need Berry helping Meeks and Hicks under the basket.
Look, I have defended our "softness" against the 3 in the past. But there's no excuse for leaving the hot hand alone. And when we are not leaving him alone, we're getting scraped off by good screens.
Might be time to start Pinson if Williams is not even going to look to score
I get what you're saying, but I don't think this Heels team has any business losing to this BC team. Yes, Bowman is having an awesome game, but if Berry is who so many say he is, he should be able to shut down Bowman, and I can't see that anyone else can beat us.
And, I agree with whoever said we need to tighten up the lineups. Way too many minutes with zero or one legit scorer on the floor. For example, when you have Pinson, Luke, Nate, Seventh, and Bradley on the court..... where is the offense going to come from.
I really want Berry and Jackson to become more aggressive in second half in driving with the ball. And more time for Hicks. He has zero fouls, but only 2 shots.
I would wear one of those wigs if I were a BC fan. At least then I'd have some hair.
In the prediction thread I picked BC and Under. We really should beat them by 30. And, who knows, maybe we will. But until we prove we can play better on the road I can't depend on them.

I fully expected Roy to go deep in the bench and give the yougins lots of run. As I type that though, how does the official from across the floor call that foul on Berry while the one 5 feet away doesn't???
Dear Jesus, this officiating......you want to call the travel on Berry who didn't have established possession, but you won't call the two hand hold on the BC player trying to keep Berry from establishing the fast break?!?!?
Berry a great steal then Bowman fouls in frustration and they call Berry for traveling, hope they show a reply of that
I hope the boys can fkn shut Bowman down in the second half so they can show his parents some more...
Hate when Britt/Seventh running the 1 and 2. Literally a shit show when those two are running it haha.
