• Mack Brown is 113-78-1 as head coach of UNC. Brown is 288-154-1 all-time and is the
winningest active head coach in the FBS.
• UNC is now 6-3 all-time against Boston College and the Eagles snapped a five-game losing
streak to the Heels, their first victory over Carolina since 2004.
• Mack Brown is now 1-1 in his career against Boston College. Both games have been played
in Chestnut Hill.
• UNC was held scoreless in the first quarter for the third consecutive game. The last time the
Tar Heels were held scoreless in the first quarter for three consecutive games in the same
season was in 2017 (at Virginia Tech, vs. Virginia, vs. Notre Dame).
• The loss matched Carolina’s largest of the season (James Madison, 70-50, Sept. 21).
• A Tar Heel failed to rush for at least 100 yards for the first time this season. Carolina was

• Davion Gause scored his first and second career touchdowns late in the game.
• John Copenhaver recorded a career-high 64 receiving yards.
• The Heels’ 212 total yards were their fewest since recording 172 against Virginia Tech on
Oct. 21, 2017.
• Omarion Hampton rushed for 53 yards, snapping his record streak of eight consecutive
games with 100 or more rushing yards.
• Hampton now has 1,475 rushing yards on the season, moving ahead of Elijah Hood for the
third most in a single season by a Tar Heel. He now ranks second and third on the all-time
list.
• Jacolby Criswell threw two interceptions in the game, snapping his streak of 154 passes
without an interception, which was the longest streak by a Tar Heel since Drake Maye
attempted 195 passes without an interception in 2022.
Defense
• Kevin Hester Jr. recorded his first fumble recovery of the season, and third of his career.
• Stick Lane recorded a season-high 11 tackles to put him over 350 total tackles in his career.
• Kevin Hester recorded a career-high 10 tackles.
• Joshua Harris recorded a career-high seven tackles.
• Will Hardy recorded the second forced fumble of his career and first of the season.
Special Teams
• Chris Culliver scored his first touchdown of the year on a kickoff return in the second
quarter.
• Culliver’s return was the longest kick return of the year and first kickoff return for a
touchdown since Bryson Nesbit returned an onside kick for a touchdown against
Appalachian State in 2022.
• Culliver’s return was the longest return since Anthony Ratliff-Williams returned a kick 98

• Noah Burnette was good on three extra points in the game, moving ahead of Jeff Hayes for
