I thought a separate thread is in order for rumors and thoughs on UNC replacing Seth Littrell. In the post-Clemson game presser, I found it interesting that Fed said when Littrell came in, Seth had to adapt to UNC's existing system and terminology. That may explain some of the odd play calling this year. This was not Seth's system (it is Fed's), and Seth tried to run it, maybe without understanding all of the intricacies. Fed stated that the same would hold true for this search. They will look for someone to come, fit in, and perhaps offer some tweaks and wrinkles.
It is odd that we are NOT replacing an OC--our co-OCs are Brewer and Kap. Seth was Assistant HC for offense and TEs, and he was the game play caller. So (perhaps AJ can help clarify and provide insight), are we looking for an Asst HC and play caller, or just a TE coach? Will Brewer or Kap take over play calling duties?
