When Meeks was doubled Jackson was wide open under the hoop. That's the kind of pass Sean May saw and made all the time.
Good start for Meeks. Not a great sthart in general though. Brice has not been making that little hook shot this year the way he did last year. Jackson still isn't looking great. They need to have a definite plan against the double team. It has frustrated them so far.
I think the reason he is missing it is because he seems to be about 2 feet further out on it this year in comparison to last year.
Good hustle by Berry. I expect him to hit a shot or two soon to break this open and jump start the offense.

Justin Jackson is literally playing so damn bad right now. That was a pretty embarrassing missed bunny on a nice pass to the cutter.
Joel James got bailed out there as he lost sight of the ball and basically gave an open lane to the basket. The dude traveled though. Probably surprised the defender basically stopped guarding the ball.

That is not a charge. His feet are not set and he is moving. I wish the refs would one day call charges consistently.
Williams missed an open 3 that was close to going in. Great box out on Meeks repeatedly by NIU. Good fundamentals on their big men on the defensive end. He showed real well on the roll also to stop Berry's momentum.

Yeah, it probably should have been nothing. Certainly wasn't enough to be a charge though.
I watched UNI during the ESPN 24 hour marathon. They looked pretty decent.

Good defense by Berry. He has quick catch up speed. The other guy made a couple of hard shots on him so far though.
I am not sure if he intended that pass for Jackson actually. It looked like he intended it for I think Pinson? (not sure who was down inside with the positioning). It looked like Jackson snatched it in stride though.
Yea I could see it that way too ..glad it ended up in Jacksons hands tho we need him to start the engine
